About Me

Making Fitness Fun

Hello! I’m John, and I’m excited to share my journey with you. After spending 16 years as a professional footballer with Tottenham Hotspur, Norwich City, and Reading F.C., where I played over 300 games in the Premier League and Championship, I’ve transitioned into a new passion: personal training.

Having experienced firsthand the importance of health and fitness, I decided to pursue my qualification as a personal trainer after retiring from football. For the past 20 years, I’ve dedicated myself to helping men and women reach their fitness goals—whether it’s losing weight, toning up, or simply feeling better about themselves. There’s nothing more rewarding than witnessing someone transform and exceed their expectations!

*What I Do in My Spare Time*

As someone who has always embraced an active lifestyle, I enjoy keeping fit and exploring new challenges. Three years ago, I participated in my first triathlon at Dorney Lake—a 750m swim, a 20km bike ride, and a 5km run. Despite limited training, it was a life-changing experience! I’ve since completed several triathlons across the UK and have just signed up for a Half Ironman at Hever Castle this September. My journey has taught me that with determination and a little guidance, anything is possible.

I started with John back in 2009 and trained a couple of times a week with him. I very quickly saw results and each session was always different, which was great, it kept me on my toes and the sessions interesting. I loved the transformation both physically but mentally too.
